Penza region Arbitration Court holds first hearing on Alexander Tuzov case worth 3 mln

Penza, 8 February 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region Arbitration Court held the first preliminary hearing on the case of the founding body of PenzaNews agency against an individual businessman Alexander Tuzov on recovery of compensation of 3 million rubles for illegal use of copyrighted work. The hearing took place on Monday, February 8.

Even though the accused party had been addressed a hearing summons containing the date and time of the hearing, and a request of arbitration, neither he nor his representative appeared in the court.
At the same time, the complainant at the request of the judge Svetlana Novikova reviewing the case presented a package of documents in confirmation of illegal use of 60 items of copyrighted work by the accused party.
The next court hearing on the case in question is scheduled for Wednesday, March 2.
